About Kerikeri

We live in one of the most beautiful places in New Zealand, the Bay of Islands.

Kerikeri has a colourful history and offers a true lifestyle, situated approximately 3 hours drive north of Auckland, and 1 hour north of Whangarei.  A unique community, which today is made up of many different nationalities.

With continued growth Kerikeri has still managed to maintain its charm and mixture of residential, lifestyle, horticultural and rural properties.  Offering locals and visitors many places to relax, revive or seek adventure and widely known for its successful horticulture, niche food products, boutique vineyards, fabulous chocolates, art galleries, cafes and crafts.

The main centre of Kerikeri township consists of retail, commercial and industrial businesses, surrounded by residential living and larger lifestyle blocks.  Local produce, art and craft stalls are scattered along the main entrance routes.  As the largest township Kerikeri supports many smaller towns which surrounds the area.

Kerikeri can offer a supportive, caring and interesting retirement option;  a great place to bring up your children with a variety of excellent schooling opportunities, space and room to play, beyond city living; or for those just seeking to enjoy life, the great outdoors, peace and quiet and be part of a local community.

If you would like any further information about our area please contact us or call in for a chat.   We are passionate about our community, our district, and our home for both us and our families.  We have been a local family business for over 35 years and the longest established real estate company in our area, and very happy to help provide any information to anyone considering Kerikeri as a destination.
